Accessibility Statement

Coffeeprojectny is committed to ensuring that our digital platforms are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that accessibility is an essential part of hospitality, community, and social responsibility.

Our commitment to accessibility

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across our websites. These standards guide how we design, build, and maintain accessible digital experiences for people with a wide range of abilities, assistive technologies, and devices.

How we evaluate accessibility

To ensure our websites are inclusive and usable, we engaged the disability-led, accessibility consulting firm Easy Surf for the following:

  • WCAG 2.2 AA audits
  • Manual testing with assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and screen magnifiers
  • User testing with people with disabilities to identify usability issues that automated tools cannot detect
  • Ongoing monitoring of new features and updates to maintain compliance over time

Use of third-party platforms and tools

Our websites make use of third-party technologies and services, including platforms such as WordPress and Square. While these platforms may introduce their own constraints, we do not treat third-party tools as an excuse for inaccessibility. We actively audit, customize, and remediate wherever necessary to ensure that the user experience remains accessible and consistent.

Continuous improvement

Accessibility is an evolving responsibility. As standards, technologies, and user needs change, we continue to improve our websites so that all visitors can interact with our content and services – including reading our blog, registering for classes, purchasing products, and managing their accounts.

We continuously test our website with a range of assistive technologies and browsers.

Due to documented bugs in the WebKit engine that affect Safari and VoiceOver – for example, current issues related to improper support for aria-describedby – some features may not be announced as intended when using that combination. These bugs are outside our control and have been reported to the relevant vendors.

Users who experience issues with Safari and VoiceOver may achieve better results using other freely available assistive technologies or browsers such as NVDA with Firefox or Chrome while these platform-level bugs remain unresolved.

Need assistance or want to report an issue?

We welcome feedback about accessibility. If you have trouble using any part of our websites, or if you encounter a barrier to access, please contact us:

We will review your message and respond as soon as possible.

Our goal

We believe that accessibility should be built in. By auditing to WCAG 2.2 AA standards, testing with users with disabilities, and working with professional accessibility experts, we continue to take meaningful steps toward a fully inclusive digital experience for all.

Thank you for helping us improve.
